[hider=Death of Hope - Big Spoilers]So after Grim Tales, Grant and Hope had become very 'Close' to one another. To make things worse, when they had become at an extremely great relationship, Grant was found. Hugh Portman, Ruth Leavesma and Frakna Oslo's Squads of AHSS Soldiers moved in for the biggest pursuit in Mankind. A huge gunfight broke out, Grant using an Old Rifle Momentarily that he'd robbed from paasing patrols earlier in the Year. When Hope returned, she saw the fight breaking out, seeing the strange gunmen equipment. Figuring she had no chance, she shifted, ambushing the Squads. As the reinfircements began to arrive, she had already lowered the original attacker's to half their size. Ruth and Hugh were distraught as Hope tore through a Soldier's limbs, threw the remains at Frakna. This knocked him to to the ground, allowing her to burn him alive. The act of inhumanity made the perfect distraction for Grant and herself to escape.

Later in the story, the Grim Titan's weakness had been found with blasting the bone nape armor to expose it, allowing them to 'Kill' the beast for the first time. Hope had been protecting him on foot the whole time, and when he emerged from his body, she forced him to run. After a short arguement, she moved him away, allowing her to Shift once again. In doing so, Hope was taken down in her Titan form as Grant watched, by Annella (Dun dun duuun). As she was withdrawn from her Titan's corpse, Hugh and Ruth moved her into the clear. Annella and Yuri watched as Ruth, still in tears from Frakna's gruesome death, confronted her. "Call yourself a human..." she said, before aiming her AHSS Handcannon and leaving her head to waste...this was the end of Hope! [/hider]
