"Moon Rider..." Walking towards the Black King was Dark Wraith. Her health was back at max and she was no longer an outlaw. Her level was still the same as before, so she had not been slain by the White King. However she was alone, though she had two dead thralls escorting her. "I apologize for my tardiness. I had a... Previous engagement." Looking around Dark Wraith took note of the damage done to the city. She sighed as she calculated what the cost of material and labor would be. The Black City still stood, but she would have to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. Meanwhile everyone else enjoyed calculating their EXP. Many of the reinforcements reached their next level, causing celebration around the Black City. Everyone who arrived came under different banners; most of them personalized emblems, but some actually came from the other guilds, a few associated with groups that did not have a well known reputation. One symbol in particular was found among different vehicle and factions: It was a black circle with various white lines dashed through it. The mark of a Sweeper. There was no particular group with this emblem, rather there was at least one on each of the various groups here. For those who bother looking into it the conclusion was simple: The ones gathered here are all Sweepers. Dark Wraith figured it was time to make that much clear. Bowing her head towards Moon Rider Dark Wraith snapped her fingers, making her two dead thrall pick her up as if they wanted to elevate her higher. "If you do not mind, Moon Rider, it's time that I did my part." As she stood where she was someone used an avatar ability to make the dead thralls grow, allowing Dark Wraith to be elevated even higher. Another used an ability to create an astral projection of Dark Wraith herself, allowing her voices to be spread across the black city. "Welcome to the Black City. I am Dark Wraith, Moon Rider's second-in-command. I assure you that the recent battle with the level 5 Dissolution was not intended: There are still those out there who seek to crush the Ebon Strykers in their infancy. Outlaws who have besmirched the meaning of a Black Guild, and our colored rivals. They remember the reign we once had and fear our power, rightfully so. And that is not just because we are led by Moon Rider. Because we will bring upon a new age for the Ebon Strykers. An age of discovery. Of growth, both in power and in character. And more importantly, an age of cooperation. Because those of you gathered here today are not merely players of Deep Ground. You, who shall be all that is good in this world, who shall defeat all evil in this world. Today we will bring out from the darkness the glory of a guild in the past, and remove the blight upon these lands! So let me say this again... Welcome to the Black City, Sweepers." That following speech, the Ebon Strykers were joined by 300+ players. Many were independent players, some came from guilds, but if Moon Rider's speech was any indication, they were all Sweepers. Dark Wraith also made the announcement that they were in an alliance with the White Guild and must refrain from interfering with them. However, just because a majority of the Sweepers have joined the Black Guild, doesn't mean that they are no longer Sweepers; they are still expected to fulfill their duties even if they must hunt down their fellow Ebon Strykers. Of course, whether or not they'd ever get a target who is an Ebon Stryker... It's unlikely. There was another thing: A quest. One that extended not only to the Sweepers but everyone in the Ebon Strykers: They were to hunt down the player known as the Corpse Collector. This was mostly on behalf of the Ivory Masks, but Dark Wraith figured that sooner or later the rogue player would attack them. Not much information on the Corpse Collector was given beyond her assumed class (Rogue) and recent appearance (Blond woman who dual wields gun). It is said however that her username is often unseen, and many believe she may be a hacker. They have no proof of this of course, and the ones who say it tend to be strong players who may have had their prides wounded, but still the players were told to be careful. Whoever the Corpse Collector was, she wasn't an ordinary player. "Show no mercy, for she'll give you none."
