As the green haired woman clawed at the shield, tearing entire chunks of it in the process, Cody felt his strength ebb as he had to pour more and more magic into stopping her attacks. He fell onto his knees, gritting his teeth as he could barely hold off her attacks before suddenly his shield shattered in front of him.
"S**t!" Cody covered his head to protect himself from the attack that never came.
Suddenly an arrow came out of no-where and struck the woman in the back.
"T-Thank y-you..." She muttered before collapsing onto the ground. Levi rushed over and had helped Cody up and was saying something, but he didn't quite catch it.
Everything blurred around him for a moment as he stumbled a bit, before looking up at James as he heard the word guild.
"Guild? What guild?" As his suddenly dizziness was just as suddenly gone.
