[@6slyboy6] Well in that case I doubt Ash could have just left, more like the military ceased to exist. Maybe he was Royal guard for the Ashurian leader, and took a blow to the head that messed up his mental state a bit? Like amnesia? 

Unless he was part of the rebel army and once they took down the Ashurian empire he left. I dunno.
