Cause Rui-Ling's been searching for a way to end his immortality for some time now (at least so he can age), and it's been rationalized in his CS that his divinity is as natural as the idea that every human has a soul.

Just want some idea of the rulings behind all this, as well as some world-expansion. Probably would have liked to know that methods of immortality-removal existed in this universe when my CS was first made, really...XD

As far as I know, Lucille is the only way to permakill an immortal due to her powers. You'll have to ask KoL about more methods. I'll add Shiina's reaction to your post later tonight.
