He could tell that James was a powerful mage just from the magical power he could sense as well as that commanding presence he had. Cody seemed quite eager to get into Phoenix Wing though Levi was more nervous if anything. He too was a mage without a guild so perhaps he could join Phoenix Wing or one of the other guilds participating in the games. It's his magic that made him worry if he could ever join on it. Not his power level, but the nature of his magic itself. An unwilling practitioner of the Black Arts: The Egg of Sin or commonly known to scholars as the Harbinger's Curse.

[color=00746b][b]NOLAN[/b][/color] and [color=ed1c24]ENMA[/color]

Nolan was more or less trying to grasp whatever energy he had left to deal with whatever pile of shit he had to deal with. All he wanted was to forget about today and pretend that it never happened. Pretend that his siblings were still dead, pretend he didn't have feelings for Ariel, and pretend that this stupid fight never took place to begin with, but he knew that wouldn't happen. This was all too deeply ingrained in his mind for him to simply forget. The only thing he could do is hope that tomorrow would simply be a better day. There wasn't much else he could do except to move on. That however would have to be put on hold for now. He had one more little shit to deal with named Gabriel. Today he has been completely out of character and it seemed that trend was going to continue. 

He appeared behind Gabriel with the ominous aura of death that would've made any creature with basic instincts to flee.[color=00746b]"Hold your tongue. Quit it with the holier than thou act and listen to me and listen to me well. You say that we don't care about her, that we're putting all of the blame on her while you're just standing there pushing the blame onto us by saying we drove her berserk. It's so easy to put the blame on someone else to detach yourself from the situation rather being the solution. Marlene fell and yes we didn't react because no one foresaw that an unknown figure would stop her. Amid the chaos everyone was still trying to gather their wits of what just happened. You happened to simply gathered yours faster. If I didn't care about her as a guild mate then I wouldn't had held back against a clearly formidable mage until I had no other choice. We do care about her so quit trying to act that Phoenix Wing don't give two shits when you have no knowledge of our guild. Go fuck yourself."[/color]

There wasn't a chance in hell that he was going to let this fodder have the satisfaction of having the last word. He walked away from him, but noticed that Ariel was approaching them after she had yelled at everyone to shut up. His eyes tilted to the ground guiltily.[color=00746b] "Sorry, seems like I keep getting you into trouble don't I? I'll bring you back to the hotel the guild's staying in. You can take my bed. I'll figure something out."[/color] Taking the initiative he took her hand and began to lead her back to the hotel.

Meanwhile Enma was just standing there dumbstruck. [color=ed1c24]"I don't fucking believe it...HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND AND SHE'S CUTE?!"[/color] He grabbed his head and groaned loudly. Nolan, of all people, had a girlfriend. HOW?! WHEN?! What's worse is that the oni doesn't have a girlfriend while Nolan freaking Waltz has one! Enma sighed and glanced at Gabriel. [color=ed1c24]"You know Gabriel, you really need to be careful with what you say. It is unfair to judge others when we do not know the entire story. Nolan, the guy that just told you off, and I go way back. He wouldn't had picked a guild if it didn't care about its members. When you've calmed down you should go apologize to the guild."[/color] He laid his hand on Gabriel's shoulder and looked at Hunter with a wide grin. [color=ed1c24]"Speaking of apologies, I'm sorry for Gabriel's rudeness to you sir. It just seems like he's a bit emotional right now."[/color]
