[center]The Calixis Sector, a region constantly at war. Besieged by heretics, mutants, Chaos, and Xenos at all fronts. Needing something more capable of achieving important battlefield objectives than sending endless waves of guardsmen at the enemy, Lord General Militant Davius Kern has put together a series of Special Forces regiments comprising of some of the best guardsmen from across the Imperium. This is the story of Task Force Regiment 13, nicknamed the 'Lucky 13s', they have just received a fresh wave of new recruits, organized into a squad under the command of Sergeant Lanfried "Oracle" Machholter, a Catachan officer pulled into the regiment after his last was nearly wiped out, noted for his ability to seemingly predict the outcome of a battle very early on, and adjust accordingly. You are one of the new recruits pulled into his squad, taken from various homeworlds across the Imperium, you will serve until you either perish, or choose to return after the required amount of years service. So we will be playing an Imperial Guard special forces squad, led by me as Sergeant Machholter. I've got a few simple rules to list, then we'll continue on to the CS for both characters and custom homeworld regiments.

Rules:
1. GM's word is law, subject only to the rules of the forums.
2. Certain regiments, such as the Tanith First, will be restricted in the number of soldiers allowed.
3. Custom regiments are allowed, with a special CS detailing both the homeworld and its military structure.
4. Reloading is mandatory, but keeping track of ammo numbers is not, so long as you remember to reload.

Appearance: Lanfried wears what is generally considered standard garb of a Catachan, olive green fatigue pants, with a flak vest, a red bandanna, and pouches and holsters for ammo, a laspistol, and knives of various types, including one for a Devil's Fang.

Weapon(s): 1 Mark IV Lascarbine, 1 Laspistol sidearm, 1 Catachan Devil's Fang knife, measuring 3 feet in length. 4 frag grenades, 4 krak grenades.
Armor/Clothing: A Catachan Jungle Fighters uniform and a Flak Vest
Equipment: A pair of Magnoculars and a micro bead for short-range Vox communications

History: A former Catachan Jungle Fighter officer, he had served faithfully for 5 years, before a disastrous battle led to the near-destruction of his entire regiment. He was transferred to the special forces, partly for his skills as a leader, partly for his precognitive abilities to predict the outcome of a battle, and adjust accordingly, earning him the nickname "Oracle".

Personality: Tough. harsh, and grim. He does have a bit of a caring side for those under his command, not wanting them to die, especially after they've proven themselves. He's known to carry over Catachan rituals and rites over from his days in that branch of service, which can sometimes be at odds with the mindsets of others from other homeworlds.
