Thor shugs. "Sorry but that was your own doing." He quipped as the alien invasion were soon approaching. "I'll be back with the team." Thor tells them as he spins his hammer and flies high into the sky.

Thor lands at SHIELD HQ and walks right in through the roof's doorway and into the main control room. There he spots Jane, Varia, Darcy and Selvig. "Glad to see you all safe."

"Is THIS your doing?" Black Widow storms upto him and throws Loki's file in his face. 

Thor sighs and Janes runs over to them. "It was both our ideas actually." She then looks at Varia. And it was then she knew. They had used her just to get Loki out. Varia felt so stupid. "I see now...you didnt want Thor in trouble so you count on good ol' Varia, the poor sap to feel sorry for Loki and let him out?!" She angrily accused, who she thought was her friend. 

Jane goes to her. "No...it wasn't like that V..." She tried to take Varia's hand in a friendly grasp but Varia steps away. "No! It's exactly like that!" She shouted at her and Thor. "How could you do that to me? I was perfectly happy before you came along and whisked me off to Asgard for a little "stroll" and now I'm caught up in a web of lies - who at the HEART of it all is THE GOD OF LIES who I can't get out of my fucking head!" Varia ranted as she goes mental. "Just how could you do that to me..?" Varia had tears in her eyes. A lowly mortal who a God could never have any feelings for and she was trapped by it. There was nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

"My, my....got ourselves into a bit of a pickle have we?" Came Captain America's voice from behind them all. Varia turns around to see Steve Rogers and gasps with awe. The Avengers leader himself. He stood there smiling quite curiously. Varia had admired this man ever since she joined the police.
