Wepwawet was one of the Egyptian dieties that represented connections to war as well as being one who opened the way to the Du'at once the soul had passed the judgement of Anubis. So ultimately I would say he would seem to be a rather intimidating person yet he himself is rather open to greeting strangers and giving his opinion on matters even if they don't pertain to him with a strategical mind with a good eye for details. Even with his representation of war he would rather find means of preventing bloodshed then rather causing it - The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting. He was at times viewed as being a brother to Anubis due to the similar heads, which while Anubis is a Jackal, Wepwawet was that of an Egyptian Wolf which until recently was actually also thought to of a been a species of jackal. So I somewhat want to throw that into the mix though first have to talk to the person who has Anubis reserved as their character.
