Moon Rider watched as Eclipse Princess turned away from her and voiced her half-measured resolve to join. That was fine by the Black King because her Guild had no room for those with fluttering mentalities. Either you fought with her or against her. That taken care of, Moon Rider traveled alone in what was left of her city before eventually meeting up with Dark Wraith again. Before she could stop it, a small smile made its way to Moon Rider’s expression. So the Level 5 Player had kept their promise after all. And the fact that they stood before her alive and well was proof enough that her battle with the White King did not end in disaster. How grateful she was to have such a strong Avatar by her side. “It’s not a problem,” the Black King replied with her Deputy voiced worries over her late arrival. “For now we have more delicate problems to handle such as rebuilding the District and keeping our newly gathered recruits in line.” Dark Wraith must have read her mind because she put then began to broadcast a message to the all of the Ebony Strkyers. Moon Rider watched with crossed arms, impressed at her Deputy’s clear ability to lead and inspire. When she was finished, the Black King waved the other Player closer to her, her smile now being replaced with her normal stoic frown. “I understand that your battle with White Sun must have taken its toll on you. However, we shouldn’t discuss such details out in the public. Meet my client in her dorm in one hour. I trust that you will able to find your way to the Student President’s dorming quarters?” Once Dark Wraith had answered, Moon Rider nodded before summoning her Player Interface. With a few button clicks, she had logged out and entered night time back in the real world. Further away one other Player was logging out as well. Corpse Collector gave one last bored glance to those left behind, apparently glitched and freezing up before masking her presence once more. Back in the wide expanses of DGO, yet more encounters were to be made. For as Unrelenting Jukebox sped off into through the path to reach the Blue King’s territory, the neutral land of Faded City loomed over him from the side. And as he raced along, that meant that a certain someone else was very, very close to his vehicle. With a yawn, Verdant Grin summoned a ball of condensed wind into his palm and hurled it straight at Jukebox’s bike. Almost instantly, the razor winds tore at the wheels, sending the bike into a mad frenzy as it skidded out of control. Waiting for Jukebox to realize his situation and ditch the now burning ride, the Green King casually walked over to where he thought his subordinate would land and waited. “Someone’s in a good mood,” he commented idly with raised eye and crossed arms.
[@McFazzer], [@Lucius Cypher]
