Well, I'm not Lugubrious so I can't exactly tell you the reason why they are about to fight, but I think it is just to get some exposure for the Mystic Beasts. The Mystic Beast are kind of like Celestial Spirits, but with vastly different mechanics. I would also like to say they may be important? Lugubrious was talking about them being antagonist in some sort of way, so it might happen, but it might not. I don't know.
