But we haven't actually seen Qrow on screen yet and besides, wasn't he supposed to wield a weapon similar to Crescent Rose?

On a semi related note Tai-Yang is both Ruby and Yang biological father right? He was married to Summer Rose, they had Ruby and after Summer's death her got together with Yang's mom who left shortly after Yang's birth. Have I got that right?
