Erin smiled "alright. When can you start?" She asked. She was trying very hard to act as if she didn't know him. She still felt so much for him, and her heart was thumping against her ribcage as she looked at him. He was also the best option for the job. She knew he would handle the job well. The others who were interested in it, weren't as strong according to her agent. She knew though that if her agent found out the history, he would immediately end the interview. She would be left with a lower standard body guard and due to the circumstances Erin needed the highest standard possible. Carlos had put Erin through the worst of circumstances. They had been rough and she was scarred from the situations that she had been in. She had been physically picked up and thrown against a wall. That had been enough for Erin after he had done that, breaking Erin's wrist. She couldn't face the man after that. He hadn't loved her. It had been the money factor. Carlos knew that he had signed a pre-nuptitial agreement. If Erin divorced him he wouldn't get a penny and would be left with anything. If he murdered her though but did it in a way that wasn't suspisious he would be left with a large fortune. Carlos had told Erin during the last attack that that had been his plan. Luckily for her, her agent had popped in with her new script. Otherwise, Erin would be lying in a shallow grave. She had nightmares about the attacks, but she would never tell anyone the true extent of the violence.
