It felt nice to hug her again, he really missed her and she meant a lot to him way back then… and even now. But it was very nice to see her again. They were good friends and that’s when they started dating because it really came down to them developing feelings for each other after spending so much time with one another. A grin moved across his scruffy face as he hugged her tightly before letting her go. “Coffee sounds great.” He said with a grin before they started towards the coffee shop. “I’m sorry you got put into this situation Erin, it was all Annabelle’s idea. Which I’m sure she says hi, by the way. She really misses you…” And so did he but this didn’t seem like the proper time to admit such a thing. His large hands slid into the pockets of his shorts as they began to walk. “She recommended I apply for the job. She said I was getting stiff and boring. Can you believe that? Me of all people?” He said in a fake offended voice with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. God it was good to see her again.
