Last thing I can remember was that Kaitlyn challenged Damian, they fought, were interrupted by a avalanche, Time Lord was unlocking Damian and Penny's second origin, then Kaitlyn walked in when they were unlocking their second origin, then a timeskip happened. So I don't believe Kaitlyn told Damain or Penny, but I suppose Damian could of found out who she was during the time skip since their small fight ended suddenly and wanted to continue.
