[/quote]I had a lengthy response explaining everything to you but my browser crashed so I can only say that look up the OOC. Most of your questions were addressed before.
As for nukes versus spaceships. Of course nukes are still very dangerous. Imagine a nuke versus  naval ship.
We have no energy shields or supermaterials. While warships may resist MW lasers for a while almost any decent weapon could be fatal with  decent hit. The best bet for survival to not receive any hits when possible.
I'll make a tiny essay on "realisstic" space combat when I get the time.
