[b]Name[/b]: Mah'al Adnalith

[b]History[/b]: 

Mah'al Adnalith, otherwise known as the [i]Mah[/i] or [i]Mah'al[/i] is the force that threatens the destruction of all things related to chi, magic, sorcery, and culture. The Mah'al is a religion that birthed technological advances, likely created by those who could not wield the powers of the earth. Followers of the Mah'al create enormous machines, destroy forests, and create the first guns. 

Once sought as a great advancement in transportation and other uses, the use of said material has caused many to go insane after long exposure. Those who use the Mah's technology become slaves to their own creations and will abandon their homes to create more. Some believe it's in the materials used to make the metal alloys, others say its exposure to the steam and electricity. One thing is known for sure; once a city creates these steam-powered constructs, the citizens lose themselves and their individuality. 

Lotus Port has had their fair share of interaction with the Mah'al but has been able to defend themselves. Their last contact with any of the Mah'al's ships was over ten years ago, back when the war seemed to plague their land. Some fear they are due for another attack while others believe that the Mah'al have finally disappeared.
