Basic Information Name: Tala Allin Muliere Nickname/Alias/Etc: Tally, Talin, Rolls of Nickels, Phoebe Gender: Female Age: 18 Height: 5'3 Weight: 139 Appearance Hair Color: Dark Brown Eye Color: Amber Ethnicity: Dravidian-Indian Physical Appearance: Tally is a obviously indian girl that seemingly appears like a cute, innocent, young girl years younger than she actually is. Whether it's her small stature, younger than average demeanor, or her innocent facial expression is up to debate. Tally's facial features and darker skin color are highly similar to Dravidian Indians. True, her skin is quite dark, to the point where she's easily mistaken for a African-American by those who haven't seen enough Indians. Fortunately, her facial features and accent can easily tell people that she's truly Indian. Tally's build is rather unimpressive, and easily makes her the least intimidating person in the entire 218. Her body is incredibly thin and bony, seemingly devoid of noticeable muscles or body fat. Not in the good-looking way, more like the weird way. If she were to take off her clothes, everyone would see her bones. That's because Tally is a recovering anorexic, she doesn't have much of that for a reason. She doesn't seem to be sexually appealing either, with her breasts and butt being flat. Her skin would be noticeably pale if she wasn't so dark. Speaking of which, Tally's skin isn't devoid of it's imperfections. She has a variety of scars, moles, rashes, and blemishes. Most of the scars are on her legs and arms from roller skating incidents. To the point where most of her scars are utterly indistinguishable from each other, few scars really stand out. She has one notable scar on her left eyebrow, it's a straight, long scar that appears to be from a blade. This scar is in the middle of her eyebrow and makes a little divide. The other scar is on the back of Tally's head, however, it's usually hidden by her brown hair. It's a large scar that seemingly was a gash. Like she was hit in the back of the head with an object, and survived without dying of blunt force trauma or, brain damage. Like it's been clearly got across before, Tally clearly appears like an Indian girl. Her facial features are petite, and would be more fitting on a girl at least a few years younger. Her facial features are round, and pronounced, a notable thing is that her facial features blend in with each other well, no parts of her face are disportionate to one another. She has a tear-drop shaped head, which is wide (Or full) around the top of her head, but gets a little thinner around her chin area. Tally's cheeks have a high cheekbone, and are rounded, they're rather unnoticeable because they blend into the rest of her face quite well, but can stick out when she smiles. Under her eyes, on her cheeks, she has freckles (She also has these freckles on other parts of her body). Tally's nose is a bit large, she has a thick bridge, with large, wide, nostrils, and is round, not very sharp. Her chin is blocky and square, one of the few parts of her face. Tally's ears are big, rounded, and point inwards towards her head. Tally has long, thin, curved eyebrows, and under these eyebrows are Tally's large and beady eyes. They're usually round, and she has slightly larger than average irises. These eyes are slightly off-putting to some, because they just look strange. One of Tally's default expressions is a lazy, tired, sleepy, face. Like she's constantly in a state of tiredness. Fortunately, this is all apart of her attitude and demeanor that she likes to portray. The other "default" facial expression is a innocent look. She has a devote lack of body hair, she keeps it shaved the best way she can. But she has plenty of hair on her head. Her hair is very curly, and puffy. She keeps it brushed behind her head, so it constantly hangs. Attire: Tally dresses very lightly, with mobility in mind. She wouldn't wear anything too movement restrictive like jeans or the like. She'd be more of a girl seen wearing yoga pants, T-shirts, sweat pants, you get the idea. Which is hard to accomplish on a frozen island, but she manages. In terms of style; Tally dresses like a skater, or if you'd extend it that far an athlete. The skater part of Tally shows when she rolls around wearing, you've guessed it, roller skates. Unfortunately, due to rules and the fact that the paths are frozen over at the moment, she's rarely seen actually rolling around in these roller skates. These skates are usually kept attached to her various backpacks that she has on her at all times, hanging off. At least to try to make up for the fact that she can't rollerskate around, she wears a black and white Pudding Basin Helmet on her head, with orange-glass motorcycle-goggles rested on top of them, wrapped tightly around her helmet. Usually she'll slide these goggles down to her face when she requires eye protection. Now, since I save the best for last; Tally is absolutely never seen without headphones or earbuds on, attached to a phone or her iPod in her pocket. Like, never, ever. The odd part is that she can perfectly understand people and engage in conversations even though she's blasting music. Personality Outward & Innate Personality: Most of the people who are around Tally get the impression that she is a nonchalant teen, but quickly learn that she's a very teasing person who'd poke fun at people for just about anything. Merely because she finds it amusing to do so. She also shows a disregard to other people's feelings or well being. She also seems to be the nonchalant person that's unaffected by everything and treats everything like it's a small deal, and otherwise, unimportant. Obviously, Tally is the kind of person who would seemingly say just about anything to get a rise out of someone. This wouldn't be that bad if Tally didn't have a brand of telepathy that made her constantly know. It's in her best interest to keep her power a secret, but sometimes she has the occasional slip-up or two, which puts them at odds with her. As a little side effect of this, Tally doesn't really understand people. The way they think just goes at odds with what they do, and Tally finds it odd. Sometimes it gives her more material to poke fun at people for. Very few things ever seem to bother Tally. She can be hit with just about any conventional insult and laugh at them for not being creative enough. However, some things can possibly bother her, insults to her intelligence, insults to her hobbies, etc. Usually she'll get rattled enough for her to warrant some retaliation against them. Tally's social filters are less than conventional. Because she's a kind of person that ignores the rules set by everyone else, and thinks for herself. She goes for the interesting people. Physical appearance, gender roles, religion, sexuality, is 100% irrelevant to Tally. She's normally confident in herself when she finds someone she likes. Naturally, she's the kind of person who'd seek out groups of people, mostly the kind that serves some use to her. The ones that don't, well, she'll either ignore their existence most of the time, or cut them. There's also a natural need for her to prey upon other people that subjugate themselves to the boring close-minded crap. She'd harass them, and taunt them, even going far as to use her power on them. Sexuality-wise, Tally is bi-sexual, sort of. She prefers men, but can be pressured when it comes to women, and sometimes finds herself attracted to girls. She doesn't really see it as wrong, but usually keeps these attractions. Despite this, Tally is, however, one of the harder to get girls. She keeps romance and her own sexual attraction out of things almost all the time. She keeps things professional, and non-romantic as possible. It'll take a considerable amount of emotional bonding for her to open up about her feelings. However, Tally's more than willing to lie about romance if it gets her ahead. Fighting is a subject that Tally isn't that specialized in. Being a five-one recovering anorectic girl, it's safe to say that she doesn't specialize in raw physical strength or intimidation. But this is what she knows she has going for her. She purposely builds herself up as a non-threat, someone could never hurt a fly. Taking the place of that, she devises, and gathers information and secrets to use against people. So once the big fight comes, she uses a mixture of her power and using their own. Because the best way to fight people is make them lose the will to fight, where Tally has the advantage. In her eyes, mental warfare triumphs physical warfare any day. Of course, she'd rather not get into fights to begin with. Hell, even if a fight does break out, she'd be the type who'd hide behind her friends, and give... emotional support. Tally doesn't have too many moral restrictions, to the point where someone may even call her a sociopath. She shows a blatant disregards for other human life, treats things like they're nothing, and will manipulate people. There aren't any lines that Tally won't cross when it comes down to what she wants. Guilt, remorse, shame, or consideration of the consequences, will simply be a non-factor, it's just what she does. Though, Tally does treat the people that she calls friends much better, and acts more human around them. She'll never intentionally wrong them - Despite the fact that she gets called out by her more moral friends quite often. There's plenty more about her personality, but meh. Hobbies/Interests: Tally really really likes music. She mostly Techno/Electronic music, and songs with no lyrics. It's a well-known fact that she constantly blasts songs out of her headphones. She also likes to see people's behaviors, such as how they act when they're alone/around people. Tally also likes Medieval art, gardening, toads, science fiction movies, and origami. Skills/Talents: A few. Naturally the first skill that I should mention is that she's a prodigy at roller-skating, and regular skating. She could pull off some sweet tricks, and can zip around like a master using one of those. Which she would show off if it wasn't so cold. Tally knows a few skills and techniques that would get her thrown in prison. Lockpicking, car hotwiring, etc, not very useful in this environment, but she has 'em. She's also an expert liar and manipulator, and definitely knows how to play with people's emotions for her own gain. Tally's also intelligent, observant, and perceptive of the environment around her, enough to piece together her own little deduction on people's goals and etc. This is mostly thanks to her telepathy and empathy, but she can do this without them just fine, this ability mostly just helps her. She also knows how to play the Bass Guitar - Not that well, but better than most beginners. Tally's also a great dancer. Prized Possession: She doesn't have a single prized possession in particular, but Tally thinks very highly of the rollerskates she has on her constantly. Quote(s): "C'mon, silly! Let's go." History/Bio: Tally's was a mostly uninteresting girl, but with uninteresting backstory. But it all changed when she developed her power at forteen years old. It started out weak, and she had no idea what it was at first, and it was really scary. Over time she realized what her power truly was, and what was within her potential. This development of her power was certainly not well-received by her family, and friends. As they started to fear for their privacy. It caused one hell of a rift between herself, and her parents, which escalated over time, with her parents wanting her daughter to be somewhere else. Tally wasn't innocent in this case, as she was personally trying to use her ability to blackmail her parents and extort money out of people. The situation came to a head in an incident where her father charged her with a knife, and cut her eyebrow deep. The police were called, and her father was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Her mother wasn't deemed too much better. This caught the eye of the 218, and she was formally invited to attend the academy. Naturally, between years of foster care and the school, Tally picked the school. She had a rough time fitting in at first, but once she figured out the flow of the place, she knew that there was literally no other place for her. Tally has been at the academy for four years now, and developed quite the reputation. One for being an oddball, a sociopath, or just plain weird. Relationships Family: ... Tally is not on good terms with them.

Nalin Muliere - Father (Arrested for assault)
Adishree Muliere - Mother (MIA)
Friends: Tally doesn't have a notable amount of friends. She's known around the school as a loon or a wackjob, but has a few friends that she's roped into her. Enemies: She's made quite a few enemies. Mostly with the teachers, the arrogant the close-minded, and the boring. Tally mostly seems to clash with the most with the teachers and the teachers pets of the school. Lovers: Few might get the impression that she's aromantic/asexual from the way that she treats romance so low on her priority list. But very few can be attracted by her. Marital Status: Single Abilities Power Class: Cerebral Power: Audio-Telepathy. Tally has a form of Telepathy that's more or less a mixture between it and enhanced-hearing/telepathy. She has plenty of traits from the traditional telepathy, but different in application. She "hears" the thoughts of those around her, both immediate and deep down thoughts. They are received through her ears, then sent to her mind's eye. This ability has an immense range, she's capable of hearing the thoughts of everyone in a major city at once. Which is more of a curse than an advantage, since if this is happening, she's going to get a psychic overload. She requires music, or other loud sounds, to dampen the power to the point where she can hear the thoughts of everyone within in twenty meters. Fortunately, she's capable of filtering out unneeded thoughts and focusing on the thoughts of specific people. She has her own form of mental-defense in case of another noisy telepath goes digging into her head. Instead of getting correct information from her, anyone digging into her head will get false information. Empaths will get a wildly fluctuating mass of emotions, while Telepaths will get random, and useless information.  Even if they do get by that, Tally's mind is naturally resistant to mental intrusion through sheer willpower. Thus, Tally is also harder to detect with mental powers. Tally's hearing has also been enhanced. She can hear twenty times better than the average human, and her hearing is hard to get "overwhelmed" which means she can hear plenty of things at once perfectly, regardless of volume. That's why she's capable of blasting music through her ears, and hearing perfectly. Another plus is that loud noises and sounds couldn't possibly harm her hearing. Tally isn't capable of sending thoughts to people, but she has an advanced form of communication. She can telepathically control people's sense of hearing. She can make people hear what she wants them to hear, alter what they already hear, and scry into their hearing. She can produce any sound imaginable by the human hearing. She uses this ability offensively by transmitting ear-splitting sounds into people's minds at the loudest volumes. Another thing about this ability is that it's purely mental, it goes straight to the brain instead of the ears. Thus, people who are deaf can hear it, and people with resistances to sound based damage can be mentally damaged. A perk of this ability is basically a limited form of Omnilingualism. Tally can understand any and all languages as long as it's spoken. The only thing is that she can't speak any imaginable language, just understand it when spoken by someone else. However, this ability helps her learn other languages surprisingly well. Another sub-gift is that Tally is very perceptive of sounds and voices. She can notice even the most subtle change in a person's tone, or tell the footsteps of people apart - Even detecting a person just from their footsteps (Long as she's heard it before). Olfactory-Empathy. Tally has a unique form of Empathy that is similar to her Audio-Telepathy. In case the name didn't give it away; she can literally smell emotions. You see, to Tally, emotions have their own specific smell. Happiness smells pleasant, love smells sweet, anger smells bitter, sadness is foul, and so on. Each emotion has their own specific smell that she's capable of telling apart from another. The intensity of the emotion dictates how strong the odor is. The stronger the emotion, the further away Tally is capable of smelling it. Tally's sense of smell is also much better than the average human, I don't want to describe this, because it's too generic. She has the usual enhanced olfactory package. Tally has the ability to alter people's emotions, to an extent. If someone is within ten feet of her, she can freely play with their emotions. At will, their emotions will gradually change from one emotion to another. Happiness to sadness, fear to love, and so on. It'll be a time consuming process. Of course, by touch, this process takes a much shorter time. One technique that she has developed is the emotional aura, it's an outward glow of pure emotion. This aura gradually causes several things. First of which is a change in emotions, but as time goes on, they will start to get flashbacks of events that caused them to feel a specific emotion. Which Tally can view using her telepathy. There are three more sensory-based abilities that Tally is to unlock: Optic-Telekinesis, Gustatory-Precognition, and Somatic-Retrocognition. Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: Tally's main weakness is her strongest: her telepathy. The headphones that she has on her ears are the only things keeping her powers weak enough to be controlled. If someone where to remove them, then Tally would start to hear the collective thoughts of everyone within miles of herself. At once. Causing one hell of a psychic overload. To the point where her ears will bleed and she'd fall unconscious. Staying in a large crowd of people, regardless of the headphones, may have the same effect. Speaking of which, the amount of people that are around her has an effect on her power, and how well she can perceive and process them. Basically, the more people that are around, the harder time she has understanding each and every one of them. To the point where she'll have a hard time differencing thoughts from what is actually spoken. There are a few drawbacks to having a form of telepathy that she can't possibly turn off. There are some things that Tally doesn't want to know. Not stuff like how people really think of her. Someone thinking of something extremely gross and obscene will probably not help her go to sleep at night. Having this form of telepathy tends to be a source of ostracism, who would want to hang around a girl where they'd have zero privacy? It's in Tally's best interest is to keep her power a secret, but has times where she slips up and reveals something that someone could only be thinking. The empathetic-smell ability basically has the same weaknesses has her audio-telepathy. Too many people, and too many strong emotions will cause Tally pain. Though it's not nearly as bad as her audio-telepathy. Psychopaths and sociopaths are harder to smell, and read up on, because of their lack of emotion. Emotion manipulation has a pathetically short range, so it's more or less tactile. Using her emotion changing too much on one person will cause them to develop a resistance to her ability over time. Using her powers too much will cause her mental damage, she'll get horrible head-aches and nose bleeds. Other:
