You know what I hate about chemistry? I focus on the really insignificant stuff, like what happens with the leaving group in a molecule in an elimination reaction, and that just prevents me from understanding Elimination reactions because I'm like "WHERE THE HELL DID IT GO AND WHAT IS IT PAIRED WITH?" they always go on about making sure a molecule is STABLE, but if a CHLORINE IS BY ITSELF IT ISN'T BLOODY WELL STABLE IS IT? and I'm like so what the hell happens? Do we j ust pretend that that chlorine is okay by itself, that it isn't highly reactive, that it no longer exists? AND THE TUTORSS DON"T HELP [i]sobs[/i] I hate my brain.
