2.) The handseals should take but a moment. Most handseals do, especially since he's S rank and would be pretty damn practiced at preforming them. They'll only take a moment when he has a technique with handseals in the double digits, which he might not even possess lol.

3.) Body spinning to follow the blade's motion as he moves it in patterns around himself, using its momentum to continue the motion till he ceased it. This whole time he's still traveling towards Chiyoko while he's moving through the air.

4.) Well, it goes from the distance he was at when the rings closed in to a few meters closer. Maybe...6 meters closer to Chiyoko when he lands.
