"I knew it.  You don't support me."  He grumbled.  "You step back and let me brawl with Vic and Ethan, even let me tackle Adler but the big guy by the fire?  noooooo." Scout scowled at her, scratching at the strap of his eye patch as he glared pointedly past her.  
"She's doubting your masculinity man."  Barrett whispered over his shoulder in Scout's ear before turning his attention back to Laura, earning a grunt of agreement from behind.
