Personality: Berlioz is shy, and can come off as aloof most of the time if he isn’t with his siblings. Once you get close to him however, he gets much more lively, teasing and fun to be around. He does have a fear of being abandoned however, and defends himself from any more potential sadness with snide comments and by distancing himself from his peers. He has a somewhat jaded view on the world, but loves music. Whether he’s composing or listening to it, that will probably be the most relaxed he’ll be in front of others. He is rarely seen without his earphones.

Background: Berlioz and his siblings were raised by his mother and their grandmother for quite a long time in one of the richer parts of France. They were homeschooled, and were happy for quite a long time, until his grand-mere decided to make her will and leave her rather extensive fortune to them. The next night, they were kidnapped. Their mother and grandmother were distraught, and hired a private detective to search for them. Unfortunately, the trail was well hidden, and they may have never been found if it hadn’t been for Mr O’Malley. He and his friends had rescued the three kids and returned them to their family. 

Soon after that, he and Duchess fell in love, and Berlioz suddenly had a new father. Toulouse took to him quickly, but Berlioz was skeptical until he was won over by the man’s love of jazz music. Marie was quite enamoured as well, accepting him as a father figure almost as quick as Toulouse had. But, their grandmother passed away soon after their marriage, and they decided to keep the beautiful house as a holiday home, and moved to the USA.

Hobbies and other information: Composing music, speaks with a slight accent, loves sweet things.
