It's bad that it happens, discrimination's bad all around, but systematic/legal discrimination bugs me more than gangs being assholes. Gangs aren't considered part of the norm/default, and their actions aren't considered or argued to be acceptable or just. They don't have legal authority over anyone, either. Which you will see with cases like these. An African American would never get away with trying to justify doing the same thing to someone white as the reverse does.

Worst thing is people who go on about how the U.S. is [i]actually[/i] discriminatory against people who have traditionally had more rights and power, and this is all just a fantasy created to justify and perpetuate that discrimination.
