I try for the midnight/opening weekend rush, because movie producers care about those numbers a lot. Every opening-weekend dollar makes it much, much more likely for movies like that to be made more in the future -- so if it's a franchise or genre or director or [i]whatever[/i] that you want to see more of, you should vote with your money.

Then again, Star Wars really isn't in any danger of losing its funding, so NBD.
