Almost immediately Rin had fallen asleep. With Marcus's arms around her and him holding her close she felt much more safe. Despite falling asleep easily she didn't stay asleep. All through the night she quivered and tossed from the night mares. Several times she woke up in tears and out of breath. Each time though he was there for her, and she would snuggle into his chest till she fell asleep again. 

Eventually morning came. Ignoring her training and the rules of on duty conduct she slept in late, after all she was supposed to be on vacation. Slowly opening her eyes she glanced around and for a brief moment forgot where she was.
