[img]http://i.imgur.com/J0Sofqu.png[/img] Remember, if you're going to stake out a claim, make sure that you're using a file that ends in .png or .gif (gifs are a little less memory intensive, but pngs will never loose clarity to compression), and likewise, make sure that you save the finished image as a png or gif in your image editor of choice. The reason your maps are getting all grainy and pixelated is because you've been saving as .jpg, which compresses the file. So for now on, .png or .gif.
