Kiyoki simply stared as his work was undone. As the beast returned to health, and it's power was stolen away from him. As the angle he would capture was returned to health, ready to escape his grasp. He watched as his greatest works to date were undone. Taken from his clutches was the great weapon of war that could have earned him the world. And now on the brink of escape stood his route to alternate realities, his tool to place ever more worlds under his control. And as he glared down at the fool who had dared interfere with his plans so greatly, he felt rage course through him. And as was often the case, his rage swiftly turned into sadistic hatred. "You seem to have knocked the crown from my head. How unfortunate. I will make you suffer a thousand times the defeat I have." He grinned, malign glee apparent in his eyes as runes appear around him. A schockwave seems to emanate from him form, purple energy crackling across the ground and through the air. And even as those present attempted to warp out of this world they found themselves trapped, locked within this world by Kiyoki's magics. "Allows me to revisit this defeat upon you a thousand times. I do not know where you sent Yamato no Orochi, but I can guarantee you I soon will." He gestures to the other Dragon Guard. "Kill them all." Saito turned, exhausted. And yet, even as Kiyoki's runes glowed up, new power seemed to fill him. He grinned as he gestured up at Eclipse, who was swatted from the sky by a windtunnel with the compact force of a hurricane, being launched into and indeed through - the large stone wall surrounding the city. Even as Eclipse would begin to recover from this mighty blow, he would find Saito before him, gathering immense buffeting winds. Eclipse was unable to take to the air, as to do so would only further increase Saito's advantage. He could not run, for doing so would grant Saito the chance to inflict another such devastating blow. And yet he could not stay, for Saito's attacks would tear down the wall around him, plunging dozens of people to their deaths amidst their battle. And lastly, most importantly of all, this might not be a battle Eclipse could win. Meanwhile, King found himself confronted suddenly by the glowing figure of Kaito. The man grinned, and yet his form was oddly twisted. His fingers extended into long, brutal claws and his face was twisted into a bestial grin. Lightning crackled across his body, and even as Tiny attempted to cast a spell he was interrupted by a claw around the neck. Saito laughed as he spun, smashing King into the ground. Any form of retaliation would hit nothing but the air where he had been a moment ago. Unhittable, and yet inflicting devastating precision strikes to his opponent. The speed and surgical precision as opposed to Saito's brute strength. The laughing, battle-frenzied demon King now faced was the scalpel to his brother's sledgehammer. Ham, meanwhile, suffered the unimaginably cruel and horrific fate reserved for those who refuse to post for ages and slow down the progression of the story >:( Blargh faced his own death as Shiro stood over him, blade raised. Even fully healed Blargh had little hope of besting the assasin, who was capable of easily seeing through his illusions and deceit. And whilst he was able to roll away from the intial strike, a secondary blow nearly decapitated him. "Your death will be a swift one." With that reassurance Shiro moved in for the kill, blade flashing towards Blargh's neck even as the murloc attempted to dodge aside. Albert faced his own doom in the form of Kiyoki, who had decided to personally deal with the dragon. Once more he was swarmed by the Shikigami, slicing into his skin and lodging themselves under his scales with their razor edges. And yet this attack was different, as several other strange creatures shot from Kami's various wards and charms to eliminate Albert. Monstrous ghosts flew upwards in groups, ghostly talons ripping into his very mind and soul as they raked along his body. He felt himself plummeting from the skies as this combined assault tore him apart both physically and mentally. Every major character would find themselves engaged in what appeared to be an impossible battle, facing unbeatable odds. The Dragon Guard were some of the strongest beings in this world, and easily able to match the efforst of the heroes. And here, on their home turf, Kiyoki had set up many wards within the city itself to refuvenate and empower them. The odds were stacked against them, and their chances of survival were dropping by the second. And that is when the unfeasible happened, the impossible. That is when the world ended. It started as a resounding boom, a strange sound that could be heard with the mind as much as it could with the body. A powerful sudden sense of loss, of destruction, echoed through the city. Reality seemed to crack and fragment, as massive black clouds gathered in the air above. Purple lightning tore across the land, but no longer was it the harmless side effect of a spell. Buildings were torn down in an instant, entire areas of land pulled into a different reality. And from these tears came the legions of death. The Necron, drawn here by this explosion in the Warp, their twisted webway inexplicably leading them beyond the boundaries of their own world. First came a single Necron Lord, a metallic figure standing before a twisting mass of Warp energies. And yet, even as he raised a single hand, his forces emerged. Even as rows of Necron Warriors stepped forth from the Warp, a massive Monolith emerged. The Particle Whip lashed out, the force easily ripping through the walls of the city. Blasts of gauss energy tore into those present, as the Dragon Guard rushed to face this strange army. And yet quickly found themselves outmatched. Even Saito's sheer destructive force did little to the Necron, and their offensive soon ripped it's way through Kiyoki's wards. Wraiths and Deathmarks appeared, ensuring tactical support as each performed it's role with surgical precision. The armies of death marched forth, killing everything in sight, and the Dragon Guard was forced to flee. Saito fell to the floor as his leg was torn from his body by a Gaus blast, only for the Herald to carry him away. The Particle Whip lashed out once more, aiming to obliterate everything in it's path, but Kiyoki's full might was able to shield the pair from it's wrath. And thus, hobbling and fleeing, the greatest warriors of this world made their escape from the Necron Forces. The Herald of Awakening had come, and he had brought the Tomb World with him.
