[@Kronshi][@Raijinslayer] Emeralds are a sort of experimental soldier (Not to be confused with super-soldier) that vary wildly from one to the other, and can have many strange oddities, like my Emerald's weird personality-things. The variability is mostly to figure out what works well, and the new specimens are altered to try and keep the good stuff and not the bad. Basically a bunch of lab-rat prototype-soldiers.
