A Heler ran over to the now healed man and examined the wound. "Nice work," he said, "I couldn't have done better without spirit water." He put a sling around the man's neck so that he wouldn't move his arm and helped him stand up so that he could leave the field. The Commander looked at the water bender that had healed the injured man. "Number 13, medic, accepted. Reserves." He then looked at the two former combatants. "Number 7, fire bender, accepted." he said, writing something on a clipboard. "I'm placing you on medical leave for the next two weeks." He looked at the other fighter, the one who had injured his opponent. "Number nine, fire bender, also accepted, though I'm placing you in a safety course so that you can learn to properly control your abilities. Now, who's next?" Sin walk over to him. "I am." he said. "Name, bending/fighting type, and position you want?" "Sin Bei Fong, Earth/lava, and I want to be on the front lines, sir." he responded. There was no going back now, not that he wanted to. "Lava, huh?" the Commander responded. "In that case, don't lava bend the court. It's a pain to try an fix it. Use the stone disks instead." Sin nodded and walked into the arena. When his sparing partner was also ready, the Commander yelled "fight" and Sin lifted up two stone disks, spinning them and turning them into lava. Before he could throw them to distract his enemy, however, a siren sounded and the Commander ordered him to stop. "Air raid." the Commander said. "Look's like Kuvira's jet planes managed to get past our defenses again. Alright then, recruits, it looks like you get to prove your skills in the field. We're going to take down those bombers before they level part of the city, as well as any ground troops they decided to parachute in during the confusion. Put on your vests and head outside." With that he motioned towards an open duffle bag and a set of metal armor jumped out of it and onto him. "Well, what are you waiting for?" he said to the stragglers, "Let's move it!" Sin turned his two spinning lava disks into pumice and let them fall. He then ran towards the exit door, leaving his belongings here. He doubted he'd need a drawing book in a fight.
