"This is the place," Makoto announced, pointing to an old apartment building. The building looked old, but seemed to have had some maintenance done to it, but still looked like an old building. "Do they really live in this dump of a place?" said Jin, hands behind his head, observing the surroundings. "Looks haunted". Jin turned to Makoto waiting for what she wanted to do next. She didn't move an inch. Was she scared to go in? Jin sighed, then began walking ahead, still with his hands behind his head, relaxed. When he reached the door, he noticed the others were following him, with worried expressions on there faces. He turned to them, giving them a grin. "Not scared are yea?" he asked, looking at Makoto. Makoto avoided eye contact, with a displeased look. "Hmm! Don't get cocky, just because I let you go first. I'll give you the honor of opening the door for me," she replied, with her nose held high, like she was a noble, which made the smile on Jin's faces widen enough to show teeth. Jin proceeded, to opening the door, holding it open, while clearing the way. "After you Lady Makoto," Jin announced, with a guiding hand, offering her to go first. With her nose still held high, Makoto stayed in place, like a statue. "Hmm! A noble such as I, will give you a honor of going first. Jin's smile grew even bigger. "I knew you were scared," laughed Jin. "Shut up and just go!" yelled Makoto, embarrassed, but not admitting to her fear. "Anyway, we don't have much time right?" asked Jin, feeling like they should hurry. "Yeah let's get this over with," answered Makoto, while Nana nodded in agreement. ```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Mitsukuni was speechless. He began asking the question "did he just do that?". He didn't know whether or not to be furious or relieved, but he guess, he understood the reason behind it...maybe. Now he was wet and sticky with soda. Even though everything looked different, the feeling of everything felt the same. "Guess I'll have to wash myself off, hell might as well take a shower while I'm at it," he thought, wiping his face free of dripping soda. He decided not to get anger at the guy for it, no matter how strange the method, it helped if not a little. He noticed that the girl finally left the room. She didn't make eye contact, but he could tell that she had calmed down a little. He didn't know, how Santiago did it, was it the soda? He didn't see what happened, because he was too busy wiping his face off. "...Do either of you have a cigarette I can steal...? she asked, her voice sounding tired. He couldn't blame her. "I'm sorry, I don't smoke," he answered, then looked at Santiago, with narrowed eyes. "Looks like you can handle this, I can't stand this sticky feeling, so I'm going to wash up. For now fill her in with what you know, and I'll be back," he said walking away to look for the shower room, wherever it was.
