Ah! Then yes let us talk about who is going to handle what right now in the crypt since I had been wondering as well. Since you have the people located in the crypt now how about you handle that and the traps while I can easily handle the stone itself and some tasty tasty lore points within the stones chamber which would hint at its true purpose. 

As for what it looks like? That first pic was much better than what I was thinking, but how about it is a perfectly smooth cube to start with but when active it turns into this?:
