Generally speaking, everyone is in the same age group so you should be friends with one another. Originally, everyone except the GMs were supposed to be in middle school but it looks like people are settling for Second Years in high school instead. Which is also fine, since only the GMs are Third Years anyway.

The GM characters are already aware of one another and are very loose companions. There's also the fact that Reika is the Student Prez of the school so eveyone should know of her. KoL's character is the resident delinquent so she's also pretty (in)famous.
