Ranked: Yes Power Level: Low-Mid Arena: Challenger's Choice (Nothing too crazy.) Victory Requirements: KO, Death, Rout Wager: None Stipulations: None Character:
Name: Alexander Beck Brighton Title: Mr. Sunshine, Breaker of the Unbreakable Age: 36 Gender: Male Race: Human/Roman/Egyptian Random Descriptors: Trust me when I say this, there are no negative aspects of Mr. Sunshne. He's tall, dark, handsome, clever, and one of the nicest men you'll ever meet. Unfortunately, his incredible kindness and an attitude to always roll with whatever happens. Leads some to see him as boring, dull, and sometimes annoying. Physical Description: Alexander Brighton is in the prime of his life, and blessed with a family lineage that lead to him being the thoroughbread of humans. A square jaw, soft curly hair as brown as chocolate, built like a house too. Alex here's shoulders are more square than Steve Urkel, he's as fit as a fiddle with a bodybuilder's complexion. Alexander's eyes are soft, showing kindness and glittering more brightly than should be possible. His irises are as blue as the sky. To some, his eyelashes are effeminate, but they're long and thick. Constantly looking as though he's put makeup through them. There is a deep cleft in his chin, and his cheeks have perfectly even dimples. There are no blemishes on his skin, anywhere. Alexander's hair is kept neat and tidy, with a maximum length of three inches at any point in time. As well, he is blessed with remarkable facial hair. Not a beard, but a magnificent moustache. Thick and wide, stretching over his lip and connecting to his sideburns to form a Muttonstache. Everywhere else on his body is cleanly shaven, waxed actually, he maintains this smooth skin with daily shaving. Everywhere. Everywhere. And to say he dresses and carries himself strangely is an understatement, if he were from our world and our day and age, Alexander would be. . .Well, ridiculed. His clothing is garish, and he walks like a stripper. Dominant Hand: Totally ambidextrious, favors his right. Personality Description: Here's where it gets a bit tricky. Mr. Sunshine is, well, a bright and cheery guy. There is absolutely nothing that will make him sad, as though he lacks the ability to feel any emotion besides happiness. At face value he's a great guy, the heroic sort of course. A knight in shining armor, raising the flag of his cause, and never faltering in his good morals. And that's where the normalcy ends. Mr. Sunshine, as most come to call him, is nor quite your average hero. No. Mr. Sunshine has no concept of personal space. Mr. Sunshine has no concept of how eerie it is to stare at people. Mr. Sunshine has no concept of just how suspicious it is to never stop smiling. Abilities: Quick Learner: While not so brilliant and retentive as his ancestor, LeeRoy, Alexander is a studious mind with a propensity for catching on quickly. Spectacular Reflexes: As a result of his Ki training, he's very in tune with the movements of himself and others. Giving him nearly three times the reflexes of a normal man. Able to catch an arrow from the air and throw it back with decent accuracy. Ki Arts: During his exploits and adventures, Alexander stumbled upon a monk from a far-away land. High, high in the mountains he trained under this man. The elderly monk taught him how to manipulate the very essence of his soul. Ki. It only took him a year to become proficient in its practice. By alligning his chakras and maintaining a clear mind, Alexander can weave powerful Ki Arts to combat the forces of evil. While he is not as adept as his master, Mr. Sunshine can manipulate his own chemical electricity. Like an Electric Eel, but with biceps.

Sparking: The most basic of Ki arts, Alexander's body becomes tantamount to Defibrillators. By altering the very same chemical electricity that allows nerves to function, Brighton can strike his opponents with electrically charged punches. Or, if he's holding a weapon, an electrically charged weapon. Obviously. Activating this ability takes a moment, and doesn't last very long. 1 turn startup, 2 turns sustain. Equivalent to the discharge of a car battery.
Rail Bolt: By using his own arm as a channel, he can send a spark of perfectly straight electricity forwards in the shape of an arrow. It shoots out much slower than lightning at only seven hundred mph, but it packs just as much of a wallop as the real deal. Not really, it's the same as Sparking. The same discharge as a car battery. The Arrow measures two feet long and one inch wide, with a three inch wide and long spade shaped arrowhead. It passes through bodies without leaving a hole, but can hit multiple people in a line.
Shock Push: A tool against metal weapons that are swung in his direction, by discharging the electricity from his body in the opposing direction that a weapon is striking him from. Brighton can repel any metal weapon with the same force as it was swung at him. (This functions as a block, and isn't done passively. It can only be done consciously, and works in the exact same was as if he were grabbing your blade and pushing it backwards.
Body Breakdown: The epitome of his Ki Mastery, Body Breakdown is a very powerful and risky ability. As the name implies, the result can be totally disastrous if done improperly or interrupted. By pulling all of the chemical electricity from his body into his heart and brain, he gives himself an innitial burst of speed and strength. Effectively doubling his ability. However, this totally numbs his body. Leaving his movements sloppy and inaccurate, making this boost only useful for innitiating a grapple. The activation takes one turn, and if interrupted makes him totally numb and reduces his combat effectiveness. Halving his strength and sped for two turns. However, once it is activated, it lasts three turns and evolves into another effect. If the effects of body breakdown aren't interrupted, and he survives the first few moments. Alexander is forced to discharge a massive sphere of electricity that follows his right hand's movements. This sphere forces itself from his chest. It carries twice the charge as the previous two abilities. If he is actively grappling while this is happening, and his chest is pressed against his opponent, it is forced directly into their chest. Like the arrow, it passes through, discharging as it goes through. Once this ball is ejected from his body, he is left numb and sluggish. Dropping in combat effectiveness by about half. Sluggish effects last four turns, the sphere is permanent until he dismissses it. The ball moves totally to his will, however, it seems to only be pupeteered by the movements of his right hand. Extending his fingers makes it move forwards, clenching pulls it back. Swinging to the left and right moves it to the left and right.
Training: Fisticuffs: Bare knuckles and shirt off, Mr. Sunshine is a skilled pugilist. With skills that would give Muhammad Ali a run for his money, and a vicious right hook that can break the jaw of an angry bull. 12 years of fighting bare knuckle, 4 years of professional training. Olympic Wrestling: Don't ask him to wrestle you properly, unless you're cool with fighting a naked guy. Alexander took to wrestling when he hit adulthood, learning how to grapple against opponents whose strength would turn other foes on their heel. Toppling foes that could easily crush him by making their strength worthless against him. 7 years hobbyist, 2 years professional training. Western Swordplay: His father was an upper class noble and insisted that Alexander learn how to defend himself with a blade. Of course Alexander obliged and for the majority of his youth and young adulthood he trained with the sword, learning how to combat any and all weapon with a longsword/broadsword/claymore/greatsword/shortsword. 19 years professional training. Continued self improvement to this very day. Fencing: As a hobby he took up fencing, though not as fun as swordplay was to him. He took to it well, besting his trainer in only a few short years. Though he has not practiced with it since he was a youth he is still trained to use rapiers. 4 years professional training. Peak Conditioning: For his entire life he has exercised, trained, fought, and reached to be the very best possible human being. His body isn't the strongest, fastest, or most durable. But he's as close to each and every one of those as is possible without focusing solely on one of those traits. Able to lift 300lbs, benchpress 460 lbs, if the weight is on his back he can carry up to 700 lbs. Able to run long distance at 16 mph, and sprint at 20 mph. As with all humans he can take a licking and keep on kicking, but he's a remarkable specimen. A wound that would prove fatal to normal men would only slow him down. Aside from his brain or heart being damaged of course. Equipment: Crysal Spearhead Sabre: As the name implies, this weapon is the head of a spear that has been repurposed as a sabre. The length of the blade is three feet, the width is three inches at the base and it tapers down to a very thin point. The handle is a foot long, with a palm swell near the base. Making the overall reach of this weapon four feet. This blade is so much stronger than steel that most blades will chink against its blade. It has never shown any sign of wear and tear, it has never needed to be sharpened. It is revered as the strongest blade to ever spill blood. Neither conventional or normal in any way, the Spearhead Sabre is a trophy from what can be considered his greatest conquest. Once, in the middle east, there was a warrior whose spear could slice through swords and slay armies in its wake. An unbreakable blade on the handle of the strongest wood known to man. Their conquests were reknowned through the lands, and an empire would soon form under this man's rule. He wielded a spear was forged in the blood of a slain fire drake, and is molded from crystal. Strange, no? Most crystal breaks when struck with a hammer, however, this crystal molded like steel. It was struck into a blade and topped the greatest spear in history. Alexander witnessed this man slay a woman in cold blood, and stepped in. A great battle ensued, and Mr. Sunshine knew that he could not fight this man unarmed, and so he caught the spear and snapped the blade clean from the spear. Turning it on its master and slaying him on the spot, the soldiers cowered at the loss of their leader. Fleeing to the winds, never to be seen again. Alexander became something of a legend, known as the Breaker of the Unbreakable. An exaggeration, because he only broke the handle, but the title stuck. He later had the handle filed down, covered in leather, and given a nice heavy gold pommel. It was never given a cross guard, and has pair of long cloths hanging from the base of the blade. One cloth is bright red, the other is white with bloodstains flecking it. The blade itself is polished with wax, and has a fine sheen on it. Always glistening in the light. As well, the blade is totally transparent. It looks like a blade made entirely of glass. While this weapon is unbreakable to normal humans and anything within the reaches of Earth, it is not truly invincible. It's actually just a very sturdy super-material. Stronger than diamond and more flexible than steel. Like any weapon, it would inevitably break from sustained stress from anything stronger than a human. History: Alexander was born into a privileged upper class noble family in a coastal city, his father was family to royalty and his mother was a merchant who had made it big by some strange circumstance. Selling scented soaps. Of course this lead to a childhood full of excess and anything that he wanted. Unlike most noble children however, he didn't want to carry on the legacy of his father and take his riches. Nor did he wish for a life of accomplishing nothing but carrying on an empire of want. Alexander wanted to be a hero. His father knew he was just a boy so he gave Alexander whatever he wanted, allowing him to burn out that passion of his. Unfortunately for his father his passion only grew as he did. Mr. Sunshine was born when Alexander took to wrestling, unfortunately his father didn't approve so he had to go under a false name to practice. Pugilism followed, and his skill only grew. Alex became a well known fighter and was payed quite a lot for his numerous victories in arenas and contests of strength. At the age of 20 his father passed away and left his fortune to him, Alex gave his father's fortune to his mother and left home for adventure and to earn his own fortune by working to help those in need. For the past 16 years he has done his best to fight for what he believes is right. Making numerous friends along the way, losing some and gaining others. Never forgetting those that he has lost, never neglecting those he has gained. When you adventure with Mr. Sunshine, you're going to be in for an interesting time, I can assure you. Quotes: "My friends call me Mr. Sunshine, that means everyone calls me Mr. Sunshine!"
Noteworthy, though not Important: The crystal that the sword is made from is the material known as Dorirum, coincidentally, this is the same material that fuels the Word Engine.
