[@Eodwyn Aether] A good rule of thumb for roleplaying here is that you first read the site's rules if you haven't done so already in addition to any rules Game Masters may have set for their own roleplays, most often set in their thread's opening posts. Another good tip is that you can use the Personal Messaging feature to message posts and character sheets to yourself so you can save them for later use; there's been times when I've made long posts but the site was malfunctioning, resulting in the work lost. Nowadays that shouldn't really happen anymore, but I still keep backups of my own posts just in case. The site's divided to three subforums: Free is where everything goes in terms of posting quality and quantity including oneliners, reaction-posts and the like, and grammar is not an issue. Casual, where this RP is in, has adequate standards: there's no major problems with grammar, and posts are usually a couple of paragraphs if not more. Advanced is where more ambitious people write their stories, but don't let anyone fool you into thinking it's elitist or anything; it's collaborative short story or novel writing, but it can accept people who are willing to put more work to their writing. There's also other sections, but you can discover them for yourself. As for making a character sheet and writing in general: you can check out what characters have already been accepted in the Characters-tab. If you write something of similar quality and length it's most likely going to be accepted if I don't find any major faults with it. Edit: If you're going to post a character sheet, post it here first. After it's accepted it can be posted in the character tab.
