I'll be honest though, the lore of RWBY is a particularly loose one. That being said, I don't necessarily disagree with you, just do't think you should let it ruin your day if one team has five members and another has three. Technically speaking, there should never be a team with three, shouldn't be operable and they shouldn't be allowed to exist. Because it's always a team of four. Yet here we are.
