Whoa whoa whoa. First, I haven't approved anything. Last I checked, this was still pending. Here, take a look at what Write and I said in PM: Lugubrious: She couldn't do that (have been a freshman) and then suddenly become a senior. I'm afraid the only option is to have a freshman Bianca transfer or to have a retcon to make her a senior all along. Write: Hm, that's completely fair. If I have her transfer on another team, I suppose she can still interact and what have you with VGNB, correct? ...and a five man team is completely unreasonable I assume. Luboobrius: Not completely, but it'd be a pretty big break in the mold. Wright: Well what could I do to help it along, at this rate I'm ready to be pretty damn flexible. Lubeboobprius: Not me though. Ask the other four if they'd be okay with it. And the other four were okay with it, but I hadn't confirmed it, just given my approval for a new mission the bunch conceptualized that the team could do if approved. I knew looking at the idea that there would be nothing, in RWBY canon or HOB canon, to support such a thing. I enjoy being generous and forgiving, particularly if family tragedy has taken place (as it has in different respects for both Write and Awsomoman), so I would have liked it if both guys could get back in. That does not, however, mean that I would have, as [@Plank Sinatra] implied, been picky and choosy about who I let back in. Any character belonging to someone who's dropped out but now wants to return, as long as it wasn't in poor circumstances, can do so. This are actually not the first cases; both Kaithas and Krayzikk were semi-officially booted for a span of months before they said 'hey, I'm here' and I welcomed them back. One of the reasons I considered the possibility of a five-man team is that there is exactly one freshman spot available: Stein's. I've been swayed by the majority opinion and various arguments to lean against the possibility of a five-man team, but then one person doesn't get their character back. The other open position, Pannette's, is a senior. This RP is, to put it simply, full up. As roleplays go we're a bit of a bloated mess, kinda always have been since the start, carrying on the tradition begun by Irish Tree. Therefore, my decision is this. No team exceeds four. Out of Awsomoman and Write, one of you will get the freshman slot on team R_GD, and the other the senior slot on JSS_. You can decide among yourselves if you like, but otherwise I would be more inclined to give the freshman slot to Awsomoman's Trad on grounds of seniority, greater time served, and more content made before leaving. That would leave Write to retcon Bianca into a senior or (much more preferably) say that Bianca was waylaid in Mistral and create a senior character. We could still interact with Bianca in the mission, but she would not be joining a team back at Beacon due to trauma or something in that vein. Being a GM of a huge RP is like walking across a room filled with people with big feet: I have to navigate to the end, but sooner or later I can't help stepping on a few toes. The only thing left is to decide how many, and if I screw up the universe in the process. My apologies. I hope I've made the write decision.
