Krysthane grinned and muttered under her breath, "[b]Won't I?[/b]" As soon as Emerald left the ground Krysthane leapt into the air herself, propelling herself upward with a mighty jump, aided by a powerful jet of water, along with a quick reduction of her own gravity. Since Krysthane had already been prepared to jump before Emerald was and since Emerald had to get both into the air and over Krysthane, Krysthane should be able to intercept her easily. And she did so by using her arms to flip herself forward, bringing her back leg into a powerful axe kick aimed directly at the center of Emerald's chest.

This was already exciting, Krysthane waited eagerly for the solid collision of her boot with Emerald's aura. Then, somewhat belatedly, she realized that she may have over-committed to an attack when her opponent could easily move into the air and could quite possibly move out of the air. Oops?
