Slowly, the dust cleared away, and the last crumbling rocks rolled off the pile of rubble that slanted down alongside the corpse of the tower building that once was the vampire's perch. Thunder rolled, and the wind died down strangely for a moment. The screaming in this area had come to an end. Most beings were warped and devolved into daemon monsters, or whatever the chaos storm did to them, or they were simply crushed under tons of edificial reckage. Somewhere in the pile, a slab of stone was knocked over by an unseen force, making a hollow rocklike sound. Darkness seemed to coalesce onto the area. Finally, in the haze of cloud and settling dust, a dark figure could be seen moving. It limped slowly, spats of blood dripped and spilled onto the hard road with soft splashing sounds. The creature was surrounded in darkness, unrecognizable with its weakly flickering red eyes, except for its having only one arm. Mithias was no more, no longer present. He had changed. The empty void, the darkness, death itself, was the only entity present, just a simple force, a beingless will, a power, a hunger for the undoing of reality. The suffering and demented beings around him did nothing as he passed, and he acted as though he didn't even see them. The warp storm, the psychic cataclysm, had been too much to bear. His body could heal, but his mind and spirit could not. Lost as he had been all this time, Mithias had nothing to keep him grounded, and he fell to the winds of chaos. His former powers had been bent and boosted to unimaginable level. He was walking death, and all his focus was on the biggest, brightest light that opposed him, Valentus. Slowly, he approached, an unimaginable anti-psychic force eminated from him, protected him. He felt no pain, no mercy. The consciousness of Mithias wasn't even present as the void came upon its prey. He would kill him.
