[@Dawnscroll] See, that's one of the things that I actually really liked about the CS. It adds an element of surprise to the mix and you can [i]choose[/i] what is truly them and what has been changed throughout time. It's a cool type of freedom. Also, none of the characters were alive at the same time, so they only know each other through the legends (if at all, depending on where they were on the time line from one another). The same goes for the entire populous of Ansus. By just having what their legends say, it helps everyone (especially our dear GM) know how the world should react around them, at least initially. Could the CS have included a blurb on what they actually did or were like? Yeah, totally. But personally I prefer to get to know the people behind the legends via the IC, let it all unravel naturally and humanize them throughout the story.
