Phoebe hesitated. The boy didn't seem to notice The glasses, but with almost relief, Phoebe saw Nicholas, hanging with the boy. She went over, her vine retracting and she took the glasses, "hi, Nick. Ah. He doesn't seem to notice me, can you give these to him?"[@Eviledd1984]

"People often react with pity because they don't understand that you can be perfectly okay with your disability. They don't understand that it's a part of you, and that any difficulties you find just make you stronger. So they react with pity because they can't imagine it, can't imagine it for themselves.
