I did say "we", didn't I? Also, was that a reference or quote from something? I feel I've heard it before.

See, all we really need to do is just use our magic, have the ranged people hit from a distance, working together to do more than bother it (preferably shoot at the eyes, the nostrils, and the open mouth before/after it's letting out whatever type of breath it uses) while the heavy hitters either distract it, or find a way to attack it with something with enough force to pierce through its defenses.

Unfortunately, I don't think that would work all that well, since there are still other enemies around. Besides that, I don't think that's where the story's going anyway.
