Alex couldn't help but laugh a little as Naisha explained her parents a little and poking fun at her words. The red head smiled slightly as she gripped onto the fragile hand. It was so cold. Colder then it should be. "Well, if proposing would make you stay with me forever, then I'll do it until you agree. We can get married, get a biiiiiig house and have as many kids as Mrs. Perkins. Maybe even ten. And we can have lots of sappy moments like your mom and dad have ALL the time." The red head chuckled softly. Hoping to cheer up her friend even a little, brighten her day just a little more. Nodding softly as Naisha said she was glad Alex was getting along with her family. The way she said it... made Alex nervous. But before anything else could be said, the door opened and the red head whipped her head around to turn her blue gaze toward the door. Squinting a little at the bright light as her eyes had to readjust to the lighting. It was Lady Lulu who entered and started speaking. At the chilling words, Alex face downcasted, body tensing as her grip tightened over Naisha's hand, but was now trembling. Perhaps the taller girl knew... but didn't want to believe that Naisha was close to being just... gone. Sleeping forever. Or just going away to someplace Alex could never reach her. Naisha spoke and started crying again. Alex couldn't speak as Lulu spoke, and the tears threatening her own eyes couldn't be held back any longer. She let out a sob as she felt water blind her vision and roll over her cheeks. She sniffled as she squeezed Naisha's hand in return as she felt the weaker girl put pressure on her hand while Naisha took Lulu's offered hand. When Lulu spoke to her, Alex rubbed her eyes with the back of her free hand and slowly nodded at the instruction, watching Lulu leave before glancing down. Not wanting Naisha to see her reddening tear stained eyes. She picked up the bowl of soup she came in with, gingerly releasing Naisha's hand so she can help Naisha sit up a bit before offering a spoonful of the hearty meal. She didn't say anything at first, waiting for Naisha to continue to eat before the orphan finally spoke. ".....Please don't leave me.... Don't ever leave me.... Abandon me... Promise me.... please Naisha..." Alex whispered so quietly, it was barely audible. Yet it was desperate. Pleading and begging.
