Well, they could have done it instantaneously, especially since Ruby was harmonised, so she had access to more of her power. Either that or they could have slowed it to a near halt as they [i]prepared[/i] to instantaneously revert it. Either is logical within the confines of the characters and the admittedly vague statement I wrote.
