Good evening, everyone. I was considering creating a Mandalorian Rebel member. Well, can I truly call it "considering" if I have already started?
Name: Dret Age: 18 Species: Human - Mandalorian Appearance: Dret is neither tall nor broad. He stands at only 170 cm or 5’7” by Imperial standards, and, despite having toned and defined muscles from years of martial training, his shoulders are narrow and his figure can be described as slender and slim. His unimposing frame and proportions help belie a trained and cunning warrior. As for his features, he sports hair with the color of blood and rare green eyes. Oftentimes, people have remarked how intimidating his sharp and piercing eyes can be. Many even go so far as to compare Dret to a bird of prey that stalks its victims with a chilling glare. Regardless of how intimidating his face can be, many of his colleagues, both male and female, do confess that he has a classically handsome appearance. Abilities & Skills:

Mandalorian: Dret is a proud Mandalorian and has been trained appropriately to truly be called one. Whether it’s on surviving in the wilderness, hand-to-hand combat, melee arms, blasters, and unconventional weaponry, Dret can proudly claim that he is far better than the average Rebel or Imperial soldier when it comes to anything martial.
Politically Savvy: Perhaps the one thing that sets Dret apart from other Mandalorians is his regard for politics and history. He has spent years studying political intrigue, law, and history because he thought those were fun things to read or watch about. This hobby has helped the Rebel cause tremendously as his contributions helped them create plans that would be effective in drawing more support. On occasions, Dret was even used to help negotiate with politicians with rebel sympathies to covertly support the Rebels.
Grand Strategist: Dret cannot claim to be adept at tactics. He recognizes that his experiences in commanding a squad directly and utilizing small tactics is lacking compared to other veteran members of the Rebels. However, his study of military history has afforded him a level of skill in grand strategy that puts him on par with Imperial officers. Dret can see the big picture when it comes to a battle and knows how to command it appropriately to victory.
Equipment: Personality & Motivation: In contrast to the turmoil he constantly faced since infancy, Dret holds himself to a humble and soft-spoken demeanor that makes both allies and enemies underestimate him. He projects a cautious and conservative persona who carefully thinks out his plans and strategies before leaping into action. Despite his great skill in conversation which has helped him attain the support of powerful people for the Rebels, he considers himself as an introvert, often complaining how diplomatic missions take out a lot of his energy. However, despite his willingness to do good and being steadfast in his personal morals, Dret often compartmentalizes his emotions when he believes it’s required. Unfortunately, this means nearly all the time. When he draws up plans, dealing with politicians, or having to do a combat mission, he shows a ruthless and pragmatic side of him that he doesn’t come to fore in his everyday life. He would do anything to achieve what he defines as successes even if these fall into moral ambiguity. Perhaps what Dret struggles with the most is his reconciling his ambitious need for personal glory and his selfless idealism for justice. While he understands and wants to free Mandalore from the grasp of the corrupt Galactic Empire, he also wants his name to be emblazoned forever in history as a figure to look up to. He would never admit that the reason he joined the Open Circle Rebellion wasn’t because it was righteous to do so, but he saw the opportunity to rise up through the ranks quickly in a small and weak Rebel faction he could help raise up to greatness.
