When Naisha began crying again, Alex couldn't help but sob again. Vision blinded by tears as her voice was choked up with soft hiccups of sobs. Setting the bowl down on the nightstand, the red head reached and lifted Naisha a little more so she could embrace her limp friend. Her strong arms tight around the fragile body, afraid to let go and desperate to hang on to her one and only friend. Burying her face in her friend's shoulder and gave another sob, uncaring if her tears stained the shoulder she cried on. She didn't want to show her face. Alex couldn't help but think maybe it was childish and selfish of her to ask this of Naisha. To stay, to be with her forever no matter what. All so Alex wouldn't be lonely... feel... abandoned. She wanted security, wanted her friend, wanted companionship... and no one could fill the place Naisha had in her heart. The orphan girl was sure, she would break without Naisha. She was strong... physically... but emotionally she was so fragile. She knew that. "..Thank you... Thank you Nai.... As long as you stay with me.. I'll be happy." Alex whispered through a choked sob.
~A Few Years Later. Alex 12 Years Old~
"ACK! Son of a--!!!" Alex shouted loudly as she was swung her sparing sword, but missed her opponent and ended up getting smacked in the back by the hilt of their blade, making her fall flat on her face. Groaning, the red head quickly got to her feet and glared her blue eyes fiercely at her opponent. None other then the great Tidus who simply gave a innocent grin and gave a hearty laugh. The red head was now quite big. Taller of course then most of the other kids and was even getting up there on Tidus, probably was surely going to outgrow him. Wearing now blue shorts, a little torn up along with a white tank top and a blue jacket. Black fingerless gloves and running around barefoot. Her crimson red hair was a messy boy short, and because of it, she did look quite a bit like a boy. With her tall and muscled figure. Her body's hips had been developing well, one clear indication of her gender. Today, she was practicing with Tidus again in swordsmanship. She had been learning from him and Rika and had a natural talent for it, though her focus could use work since it made her sloppy. Still, her skill had been approving as the years went on. Lady Yuna and Lady Lulu thought it be nice if Tidus came around and taught Alex a thing or two. Well mostly Lady Yuna. Lady Lulu thought Tidus was still too childish to be a actual teacher. The red head over the years, her temper had grown a bit more and she was more prone to shouting and lashing. Nightmares plaguing her sleep in which she couldn't understand. With the others who picked on her, she was prone to yell at them back. When it came to Naisha, she was always lashing out if anyone dared tried even looking at her wrong. "Okay! I got it this time! Once more!" Alex shouted with a smirk, as she readied her stance. Tidus just laughed thought. "You're getting better... and as much fun training is, aren't you late for meeting up with Naisha at her training session with Lulu?" he questioned. Alex blinked before practically dropping the practice sword as she gave a panicked look, hands slapping against either side of her head. "Oh shit!!! I forgot!!!!! SORRYGOTTOGOBYE!" Alex shouted quickly before bolting away from Tidus' home, barely catching laughter from behind her as she bolted straight to the beach. Her feet carrying her with ease as she moved through the trees, taking quick shortcuts toward the beach. Jumping onto branches with her hands and swinging to the next ledge. Soon enough she was at the beach, catching a brief breath before running and waving her arms. "I'm here!! I'm here!! Sorry for the wait!" she shouted as she took another breath, bending over and putting her hands on her knees.
