Yeah, you've mentioned that before. As I said it's my character's sire's sire who would be a Baron. The idea is that my character's sire is in a high position in the police force and has saturated it with his own children, because without that safety net the huge amount of Vampire crime would be even more likely to expose the Vampires than the potential of a human discovering corruption in the force. For a Vampire society to exist in a political sense controlling human government and policing on at least a local level is almost a necessity, at least in a city. Hell, most of the successful gangsters through history knew that, and they had far less advantages than vampires. 

I did query with Nox if my character's sire would be an issue, but they didn't seem to mind. If it is a problem now I can change it, Nox just has to say the word.
