The moment one of the R-Types got caught, it began to fire wildly. It was the Claw type, and it continued to shoot it's lasers until it was crushed inside the mouth of the beast, but even so it fought it all it's might. The second R-Types, Midnight Eye, fired in the direction of the monster the best it could. It didn't know it's exact location, only the general direction the attack came from, so it unleashed what little firepower it had. It caused quite a light show until it suddenly stopped. Ebon's link to the R-Type dropped when Sapphire approached him.

Instead of backing up Ebon moved to the side, and ended up getting nicked on the neck by Sapphire's dagger. [color=black]"Problem? It was a fairly light wound, though Ebon was slowly pushing his neck towards it just to draw more blood, and making Sapphire look like she just trying (and may possibly succeed) in killing him. At the same time Ebon's aura made sure Sapphire couldn't just slice his throat anymore then it already was.
