I'll admit that would give her some pause. :p And honestly, in the situation like that, it's really hard to hope for any resolution that didn't end up with her dead... but it basically comes down to this - if you're going to die anyways, you might as well go fighting, yeah? :p (Though yes, Elowen would run from the scary crowned king too!)
