An order of empowered people has existed since ancient Greece, calling themselves the Olympians.  Lead by the Kronos, a Mutant with the ability to reverse time and time travel, they have guided humanity for thousands of years.

A few hundred years ago, however, tragedy struck the Order when Kronos was killed in battle.  The Order tried to rebuild itself, but, though Kronos's son Prometheus was a powerful Mutant, he wasn't a skilled leader and the Order started to fall apart.  Then, a hundred years ago, during WWII, Aphrodite came up with the idea to breed a new leader from the mutants and empowered people that were starting to move into the public domain.  

We were kidnapped by them and taken to their island.  There we will be put in constant danger, and will be force to constantly use our abilities in the quest to survive.

Their island is surrounded by many dangerous creatures, from the more mundane jelly fish and sting rays, to cloned Megaladon sharks.  The life on the island follows a similar pattern, with poisonous plants, dangerous predators, cloned dinosaurs, and genetic experiments.  In the center of the island is a building which leads to the Olympian's base hundreds of meters below the ground.  Within this building are mechanical dangers which make the life on the island look friendly.  Not only are there traps everywhere, but the building is filled with cyborg and robotic enemies.

We are told all of this when we arrive, and promised a place within the order should we make it to them.  Little do we know that they are testing us, forcing us to grow strong so that perhaps one of us can overthrow Prometheus and take control of the Order.

The idea is to set this in the 2040s in the Marvel movie universe.  I'll need some help creating the Order of Olympus though, as well as working out the bloodlines, so if anyone wants to help, just post your suggestions here or PM me.

Also, the strength level of the Order isn't too insane.  Ares, for example, isn't as strong as Thor and Prometheus is essentially Wolverine combined with a more powerful Pyro.  To take on someone like Apocalypse they would have to fight as a group, and even then might not win.

Eric Lehnsherr has two children with a non-mutant woman.  These children are Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.  In the 1990s, however, Hydra gets access to their DNA through the US military and clones them.

Emma Frost has two daughters, Emma (Diamond skin) and Silver Fox (Tactile hypnosis, a form of telepathy).

Mystique and Azazel have a child in 67, but give him up for adoption because their battle for mutants would put him at risk.  He is eventually adopted by a couple named Wager.

Wolverine and Sabertooth are the grandsons of Prometheus.

Pyro is the son of Prometheus.

Mystique is the daughter of a previous Aphrodite.
