[@Wraithblade6] Dr Stine smiled brightly, as the mysterious boss-man gave his okay. Few groups were willing to let him play with the vampires, they were afraid he'd do something nasty. But he'd found a group with both the means and motivations to grant him the toys he needed, a desperate little vamp looking for a way to help his kin. It was certainly a noble venture, and like most other noble ventures, it could be easily twisted to meet his ends. If he was willing to give live specimens to him for his... work.... then there was no doubt he could use this fellow to gain access to resources and information previously out of his reach. He would create this cure he sought, and he would create many more wonders. And when he needed to, he'd have the vamp replaced by someone more easily manipulated. He looked over the people gathered here, a group of fools and imbeciles with some semblance of reason. A good step better than the mindless swarm that was the rest of humanity. They'd be useless as researchers, of course, but they could serve as puppets. Eager ones, happy to serve him, happy to play their little ways into his hands. Within a year this corporation would be his. "I'm glad to see plans are proceeding quickly. I of course will lead this project, and I'm glad to see we have some competent minds from across the world working on this. I'll be sure to brief you all on the progress I've made up until this point (as if they'd even understand it...) before we move on to the live subjects." He gave a brief, modest smile. The perfect image of the humble scientist, an image he'd carefully built up over the years. People liked a humble man. It allowed them to forget how horribly insignificant they were in the presence of actual intelligence. He gave a brief nod to the boss-man, as well. "And a solid thank you to the Varomere corporation. Without your assistance and generous sponsoring, it would have been impossible for me to continue my work. I'll be sure to deliver the results promised, and find a way to cure the subjects."
